John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Science within the School of Medicine from the University of Science Arts and Technology in Montserrat. He is both a Professor and Coordinator of the Paramedic Program within the School of Health Sciences here at the College. He has been a Primary Care Paramedic, Advanced Care Paramedic and Operations Manager serving the citizens of Windsor-Essex for 27 years.

John started teaching at the College in 1989 and has been the Coordinator of the Paramedic Program for 5 years. Mentoring is a natural consequence of the coordinating position for the Paramedic Program within the School of Health Sciences and within the vocation of Paramedic itself. John was also part of the teaching faculty at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan within their ECC for 10 years. He has almost 30 years of experience with supporting adult learners in the field as well as in the college environment.
