Are you looking for ways to introduce or further develop critical reflection skills for your student? This 90-minute session will introduce the concept of EL, including general theories and how EL fits into the St. Clair College context. We will also cover the key topic of critical reflection, including approaches to teaching critical reflection as a skill.

In this 90-minute workshop we’ll review the structure for writing Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and their accompanying Embedded Knowledge and Skills (EKSs). We’ll share common challenges and discuss strategies for how to approach them. The structure for writing learning outcomes is the same for VLOs, CLOs, EKSs, and Lesson Learning Outcomes. Anyone adjusting course outlines, creating new outlines, or going through cyclical review will benefit from this workshop.
