Neil is a graduate of the Master of Human Kinetics - Applied Movement Science program at the University of Windsor. During his time as a graduate student, Neil completed the University Teaching Certificate: Fundamentals of Teaching & Learning Program at the University of Windsor.

Participation in this program solidified Neil’s passion for teaching as well as reinforced a scholarly approach to his teaching practice. Neil began his teaching career at Lambton College in early 2014. Neil then began teaching in the Fitness and Health Promotion Program at St. Clair College in the fall of 2014 before being hired full-time in the Community Justice and Border Services Programs in 2017.

Neil has recent experience in the Centre for Academic Excellence as the Coordinator of CEDP, Professional Development - Teaching & Learning at St. Clair College where he shared his passion for scholarly teaching with colleagues. He returned to the classroom in Fall 2021 as a Professor in Border Services and Community Justice Services and additionally took on the Coordinator role in Border Services.
