All programs of instruction leading to Ontario College credentials (certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, graduate certificates, and degrees) follow the requirements outlined in the Ontario Qualification Framework (OQF) and Framework for Programs of Instruction.

The Centre for Academic Excellence and Quality Assurance facilitates and manages the development from the initial idea to the program launch. The development of new academic programming at the College must comply with all requirements and timelines established by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU), the Credential Validation Service (CVS) of the Ontario College Quality Assurance Service (OCQAS), Post-Secondary Education Quality Assurance Board (PEQAB), as well as with those established by St. Clair College Policies and Operational Timelines.
