The Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) mandates all Ontario college programs undergo a rigorous program review process at regular intervals. All St. Clair College programs undergo program review, typically on a 5-to-7-year cycle. When St. Clair College gained consent to offer degree programs, it committed to re-apply for consent renewal every seven years.
The degree program reviews provide direction to teaching teams and administrators for continued improvement to the quality of a program, recognize and share best practices, anticipate and respond to the changes in the scholarly and professional fields, as well as the changing needs of students, employers, industry, and community partners as the college strives to ensure excellence in all aspects of academic programming.
