You will be introduced to the fundamentals of OER, including what they are, why they matter, and how they support teaching and learning. Apply practical strategies for locating program-specific open resources and evaluating them for fit. Beyond being free, OER empower educators to adapt, customize, and creatively integrate materials that reflect their teaching style and meet diverse learner needs. An introduction to using H5P to build engaging content that students can interact with directly inside a learning management system (LMS), website, or open educational resource. 

The Educational Technology Committee (ETC) in Ontario is a network of representatives from the province's 24 colleges, focusing on fostering technology-enabled education through research, support, and the sharing of best practices for 21st-century teaching.
