The Centre for Academic Excellence and Quality Assurance connects multiple departments and partners in learning. Our leadership and expertise is focused in higher education pedagogical theories, curriculum design and development, integration of educational technologies, flexible delivery modalities, quality assurance, experiential learning, and academic integrity.
The CAE’s overarching goals are to:
- Support faculty and administration to enhance educational quality
- Contribute to an accessible, dynamic, and supportive learning environment
- Lead and facilitate the development and integration of Experiential Learning activities in our programs of study
- Support and encourage innovation in teaching, learning, and curriculum design through quality assurance processes
- Lead and support the provision of faculty development
- Facilitate development of programs that promote diversity
- Lead quality assurance processes and initiatives
- Promote a culture of Academic Integrity
