Sandra Blais

Sandra graduated from Laurentian University with a degree in Counselling Psychology. She began her career as a Social Worker and Employee Assistance Counsellor in Northern Ontario before relocating to Amherstburg 20 years ago. Looking for a career redirection at that time, Sandra transitioned into a Ministry program sponsored by the Greater Essex County District School Board to provide employment assistance services to unemployed individuals or those looking for a career change or retraining. She quickly moved into a Program Supervisor and Management role and continued providing those services until she retired in 2019. Sandra joined the CAE in 2020 in the role of Curriculum Administrator and transitioned into her current role as a part-time Educational and Curriculum Developer.
