Teaching & Learning (T&L) Conversations are coordinated by Niagara College each month via Blackboard Collaborate. The CEDP coordinator sends CEDP participants announcements for upcoming T&L Conversations sessions via email. CEDP participants are required to attend at least 1 session during their time in CEDP. Participants should write a short reflection on their experience in T&L Conversations to serve as an artifact for their final teaching portfolio due at the end of CEDP.
T&L Conversations sessions require you to read/listen/watch the provided resource in advance of the sessions. These range from a chapter, journal article, podcast, or video, usually 30-60 minutes in length. During the virtual T&L Conversations session, you'll participate in a forum for open dialogue with colleagues from the other four participating CEDP colleges. These sessions aim to create positive, supportive spaces to discuss lived experiences, successes & challenges. Participants come together to discuss key impressions of the focus resource and reflect on how the themes explored in the resource relate to our lived experiences as educators.
