Beckie is a St. Clair College Early Childhood Education graduate as well as a University of Windsor graduate with a BA in English, a Bachelor of Education, and an MEd in Curriculum Studies. Beckie has worked at St. Clair College for several years as a support staff and sessional instructor in the School of Community Studies, as well as manager and lead researcher in the Research and Innovation department. Beckie’s research has been in the fields of early learning, social justice, and intersectional approaches to intervention design. In these various roles, she has fostered her passion for student learning and engagement as well as academic inquiry and innovation. She is eager to approach academic integrity collaboratively with faculty and students, cultivating a shared culture of honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility, and courage at St. Clair College.
